2. Select your profile on the bottom left
3. Tap the Hamburger menu icon (☰) in the upper right corner then choose ‘Settings’.
4. Tap ‘Security’ and then ‘Download Data’.
5. You will fill out information in the displayed fields to verify your account details and credentials.
6. Tap ‘Request Download’ button and confirm process by entering your Instagram password then choose Next. Continue until you finish.
7. When finished, you will receive an email from Instagram containing the archive file download link.
8. To download the file, click the ‘Download Data’ button, then login to your account, and verify that you want to save it.

You will then receive an email from Instagram within five minutes. Open the email and click the ‘Download Data’ link. It will download a .zip file containing all your chat histories.

Use RARLAB to extract the zip file. If you chose to receive data in JSON format, use Json Genie to open the extracted ‘messages.json’ file and view the messages. If you chose HTML format, open the file using any Web Browser eg Google Chrome, Firefox or Edge.

Use iZip to extract the zip file. If you chose to receive data in JSON format, use JSON Designer to open the ‘messages.json’ file and view the messages.If you chose HTML format, open using Safari Web Browser.

3. After tapping on ‘Allow’, it will take you to the Notification access page. Find Notisave from the list of apps and enable it.
4. Allow the app to access photos, media and files on your device.
5. It will redirect to the Autostart screen. Enable Autostart for Notisave for the app to work.
6. The app will then start saving incoming messages notifications from Instagram.
7. To view messages, open the Notisave app and go to Instagram. You can then view all messages including the unsent messages.
